# Testnet Faucet

To develop a decentralized application (dApp) on Testnet, you need $FNCY, the native asset of Testnet. Testnet $FNCY cannot be purchased on exchanges, so you must use the faucet service to receive the asset.

**How to Receive Testnet $FNCY**

1. Create a new wallet address using [MetaMask](https://docs.fncy.world/fncy-2.0.2-eng/for-developers/wallet/use-metamask-for-fncy-chain) or FNCY Wallet 
2. Go to [FNCY Testnet Faucet](https://faucet-testnet.fncy.world/) service and receive the Testnet $FNCY to the generated wallet address
